"Amazing dentistry. Every employee was not only professional but friendly and kind as well. Dr. Kim and his assistant Zinnia in particular were exceptional, easing the nervousness I feel about dentists from bad childhood visits. They'll absolutely be my go to for dentistry work for as long as I'm in the cove area."- D.M. / Google / Sep 10, 2021

"I called Friday morning to ask for an appointment for a tooth extraction and I was shocked to be offered a same day appointment and the person I spoke to was INCREDIBLY nice. I read that they did payment plans and they had great reviews so I figured, well I’m desperate so I’ll give it a try. The clinic was only a short drive for me and when I got there I didn’t know what to expect. The lobby was nice and the staff were welcoming. The online registration was easy and when I got lead back to meet the dentist I was really appreciative of how incredibly kind and sweet she was. I explained to her my history and I was treated with the utmost respect and understanding. I didn’t feel judged at all. For patients without insurance in the aftermath of a pandemic and job losses and insurance cancellations; it meant the world to me to not feel shamed. This was the absolute best experience I’ve ever had and I will be back and will definitely highly recommend them. Thank you Ace for the compassion!!"- A.M. / Google / Aug 21, 2021
"I had tooth pain after biting down on something hard. It last for days. I called for an appt. They were able to get me in the same day. I got xrays and a cleaning by the DDS. No cavity and pain resolved after cleaning. Walked away 90 minutes later with a $20 fee for a fluoride treatment. Happy day & great customer service!!"- T.N. / Google / Aug 20, 2021
"Took great care of me and awesome family setting."- R.H. / Google / Aug 14, 2021
Is In-Office Teeth Whitening Right for You?
Spa Dent Naturals in-office teeth whitening might be a good option for you if you have darkened teeth and would like the convenience of a quick, in-office treatment. Many of our patients choose in-office teeth whitening services before special events, like weddings, job interviews, graduations, or class reunions. Before your Spa Dent Naturals whitening treatment, one of our expert dentists will discuss your cosmetic dental goals and evaluate your teeth to make sure they are healthy enough for whitening treatment. It’s important to remember that teeth whitening will not change the color of dental restorations, fillings, or crowns. It can be helpful, however, in eliminating stains from certain medications or health issues, tobacco use, or darkening foods or liquids, like red wine, tea, cola, coffee, berries, or spices.
What to Expect With In-Office Teeth Whitening
Before your in-office whitening treatment begins, your teeth will be cleaned and polished so that the whitening solution will go on evenly. A barrier will be applied to keep the whitening solution from irritating your gums, and you will be given protective eyewear to shield your eyes. A layer of whitening solution with professional-grade peroxide will be painted on your teeth, then the solution will be activated with an LED light. The gel and light work together to remove discoloration and stains on your teeth. The process may be repeated 2 – 3 times within a single tooth-whitening session, depending on the extent of the staining and on your desired final enamel shade. As soon as your whitening session is finished, the whitening gel and barriers will be removed, and we will rinse your mouth.
Following Your Teeth Whitening Visit
At the end of your whitening session, you will be able to return to your regular daily routine, but it’s best to avoid potentially staining substances, like coffee, tobacco, or lipstick, for at least two days afterward. For the first few days, you may experience sensitivity to heat and cold. To keep your smile bright, we recommend brushing after consuming products that may cause stains, in addition to keeping excellent home oral hygiene. Biannual dental cleanings at ACE Dental of Cove can help to remove new stains on enamel. Home whitening kits may also be helpful in maintaining a white smile.
Is Teeth Whitening Covered by Insurance?
Since teeth whitening is a cosmetic treatment, it is usually not covered by dental insurance. A member of our insurance team will contact your insurance provider to obtain details regarding your personal coverage to find out what amount, if any, will be covered. ACE Dental of Cove accepts multiple methods of payment, and we can even help you apply for low-interest medical financing if necessary.
Brighten Your Smile With Teeth Whitening
In a lifetime, most people consume darkening foods or drinks or take certain medications that can leave stains on the enamel of their teeth. With Spa Dent Naturals, ACE Dental of Cove can help brighten your smile multiple shades during a single, in-office treatment session.
